Mental Health at Work Index: Quarterly Brief – October 2023

One Mind at Work, in partnership with Columbia University Mental Health + Work Design Lab, and corporate ethical standards measurement company Ethisphere, is pleased to announce the publication of the first Quarterly Brief from the Mental Health at Work Index™.

Nearly 50 leading global organizations – representing almost 2 million workers – have now completed the Index to measure their own efforts.

KEY INSIGHT

Companies are expending significant sums of money to provide critical mental health care and services to individuals, BUT the vast majority of organizations do not have a comprehensive mental health strategy. As a result, programs and services are fragmented and individuals are struggling with unaddressed mental health issues for too long, resulting in compromised health for the individual, reduced capacity of the overall workforce, and diminished organizational performance.

CHRO Insight Series

The One Mind at Work CHRO Insight Series is developed through interviews with leading employers to gather key activities and actions in support of workplace mental health. These examples are designed to inspire other leaders to share their experiences in an ongoing journey of supporting mental health among diverse organizations, industries and workforces.

Learning Collaborative Summaries

One Mind at Work convenes small groups of select employers and experts to discuss workplace mental health challenges and opportunities unique to specific industries and sectors. These discussions offer diverse public and private sector organizations the chance to engage in peer-to-peer learning and exchange of ideas, insights and best practices in workplace mental health.
